Viktor Emil Frankl was an Austrian psychiatrist, neurologist and founder of Logotheraphy. He was born on 26th March 1905 in Vienna, Austria. His early development was influenced by Sigmund Freud and Alferd Adler. He mainly focused on the topics suicide and depression for this he conducted a program to council high school students. The program paid the special attention when the students receive their progress reports and the council became very successful for this Wilhelm Reich invited him to Berlin. Frankl won many awards for developing logotheraphy and existential analysis. In 1995 he received the Great Gold Medal with Stars for Service to the Republic. He was died in 2nd September 1997 in Vienna, Austria.
